DAYS TO ADD TO YOUR CALENDAR

100 DAYS SMARTER CELEBRATION:  Friday, January 25

-Your child is invited to bring 100 small items for counting and sorting!
-The items must fit in a backpack and be light enough for your child to carry!
- Items need to be movable, not sticky, and easily counted.
-Here are some ideas:  cotton balls, noodles, pennies, beads, tootsie rolls, & craft sticks
-Please send items to school on Thursday OR Friday!

VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY:  Thursday, February 14

-Parents/Guardians are invited to join us as we share our love!
-Party Time will be 2:45-3:30!
-Mark your calendars now...more information to come in the near future.

RECYCLING COLLECTION:  February

-Please keep collecting items for us in kindergarten!
-Items we are collecting:  peanut butter jars, round oatmeal containers, cereal boxes, jello/pudding boxes, egg cartons, & paper towel rolls

Pajama Day!

A little look into our sweet and cozy PAJAMA DAY in kindergarten!  

Trash or Treasure?

We have a lot of projects coming up that we can make with RECYCLED materials from your house!  You can enlist friends, neighbors, and relatives to save as well.  Please COLLECT and STORE these items for the next two weeks and then we will start sending them to school in February!  Thank you!

Here is a simple list of things to collect!
*plastic peanut butter jars with lids
*cylinder oatmeal containers
*empty paper towel rolls
*empty toilet paper rolls
*cereal or cracker boxes big enough and sturdy enough to stand up and hold valentines
*heavy paper egg cartons
*pudding/jello boxes

PAJAMA DAY

Hip Hip Hooray...Friday is PAJAMA Day!

Your child is invited to wear PAJAMAS to school on Friday.
*Please make sure that the pajamas are warm and cozy.
*Please add tights/leggings under nightgowns.
*Please send your child in shoes...slippers can be put on at school.
*Please know that we will probably not be going out to recess unless it is warmer!

As you might guess, this is one of our favorite days in kindergarten!  Please have fun choosing cute/fun PAJAMAS to wear to school.  I can't wait to take pictures!

P.S.  Friday is also POPCORN day!
